Bill preventing ergonomic injuries in Washington passes

19 years ago, an initiative was passed to ban regulating workplace practices that contribute to musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomics. However, in early 2022 a new bill was introduced to overturn the ban, H.B. 1837. This New bill allows Washington state to implement regulations requiring employers to establish procedures that will prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders. This has to lead to multiple lawsuits against Amazon for warehouse practices that have contributed to musculoskeletal disorders.
