Most states experienced a rise in traffic deaths between 2020 and 2021, and Washington was among them. Now in 2022 and traffic returning to its normal levels, Washington has seen another rise in traffic deaths, but there is still time to reverse the trend. It is important to remember to slow down now that there are more people on the road compared to 2020. Drivers also need to ensure they do not become distracted by putting down their cell phones and also avoid drinking and driving by calling a friend or a Lyft.
